This section explains how we handle personal information and related data in connection with the desktop software, free trials, annual subscriptions, and license-verification services provided by the Company (collectively, the “Software Services”).

(1) Information We Collect

In providing the Software Services, we may collect the following information where necessary:

  • Customer information, including name, email address, billing address, and country or region
  • Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, payment status, invoice information, subscription start dates, renewal dates, scheduled cancellation dates, and other subscription-management information
  • Limited payment information supplied by Stripe, such as payment-method type, card brand, and the last four digits of a payment card
  • License IDs, activation information, and free-trial start and expiration dates
  • Device identifiers generated from device hardware information, or hash values derived from such identifiers, as well as the operating system, software version, and number of registered devices

Full payment-card numbers, card security codes, and other complete card information are collected and processed directly by Stripe and are not stored on the Company’s servers.

Quotation details, costing data, customer information, material information, and other business data created or stored by customers within the Software are not transmitted to the Company’s license server for license-verification purposes.

  • Processing and managing annual subscription payments, renewals, cancellations, invoices, and payment status
  • Determining the functions available under the applicable license, including restrictions that apply after the subscription period expires
  • Sending license information, setup instructions, payment results, renewal notices, failed-payment notices, and other important service communications
  • Preventing and investigating unauthorized use, license duplication, excessive device registration, and other violations of the applicable terms
