ePTFE sheet is a flexible gasket material produced by expanding PTFE into a micro-fibrillated structure. Compared with conventional PTFE sheet, it offers superior compressibility and conformability, enabling effective sealing on imperfect flange surfaces.
ePTFE tape is a strip-form joint sealant, often with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing. It is applied directly to the flange face and formed in place, making it ideal for quick on-site sealing.
Applications
• Flange sealing in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, and pulp & paper industries
• Fragile/soft flanges such as glass-lined, enamel, and plastic
• Highly aggressive media (acids, alkalis, solvents) and high-purity services (semiconductor, pharma equipment)
