PTFE series gaskets include Virgin PTFE gaskets and Modified PTFE gaskets. Virgin PTFE gaskets are known for their excellent chemical resistance and non-stick properties, while Modified PTFE gaskets are enhanced with fillers (such as glass fiber, carbon, or graphite) to improve mechanical strength and creep resistance, making them suitable for more demanding conditions.
Applications
Widely used in petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and electronics industries. They are suitable for sealing applications involving acids, alkalis, solvents, and other aggressive chemicals. Modified PTFE gaskets are particularly suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure, and mechanically demanding environments.
Advantages
- Virgin PTFE: Superior chemical resistance, low friction coefficient, clean and non-contaminating, ideal for industries requiring high hygiene standards.
- Modified PTFE: Maintains corrosion resistance while offering enhanced pressure resistance, creep resistance, and wear resistance, resulting in extended service life.
Profiles
- Virgin PTFE Gasket
Pure PTFE gasket so it is suitable for almost all conceivable chemicals. We recommend using below 100℃ due to creep - PTFE With Glass Microsphere Filler Gasket
PTFE material with a glass microsphere filler gasket. It is suitable for glass-lined, ceramic flange. It can be used in all chemicals system except molten alkali metals, fluorine or hydrogen fluoride. - PTFE With Silica Filler Gasket
PTFE material with a silica filler gasket. It can be used in wide range of chemicals including strong acids, solvents and hydrocarbons system - PTFE With Barium Sulphate Filler Gasket
PTFE material with a barium sulphate filler gasket. It can be used in wide range of chemicals system including strong caustics, hydrofluoric acid, chlorine
